Tere Eesti, nuud Soomest aga varsti Narvast. Kahjuks ma oskan veel väga halvasti Eesti keelt, aga loodan, et veel öppin.. Hakkan siis töötama Narvas veebruaris, kui sealt korteerid/majad leidamme. Kas keegi Ida-Virumaal ..hmm.. works on and enjoys old Volkswagens? Tahaksin kaasa tuua minu T1-projektid..

Projekt on siin ja pörnikas siin (veel on T2a camper..)

kivat volkkarit Sulla - kyllä ne tännepäin Suomen lahtea (tai miten sitä märkää paikka Viron ja Suomen välillä suomeksi kutsutaankin...) sopii
en asu Ida-Virussa, mutta kesämökkini on sillä Ida-Virun länsirajalla (Rannu on paikan nimi). Että kun satut sinnepäin, voithan mulle soittaa ja tarkistaa - joka toinen..kolmas viikonloppu olen myös talvisin sielläpäin vähän. Ei kuplani ole sinne asti vielä kulkenut, mutta se historiallinen asia on juuri tapahtumassa, kun 1kk päästä on tämmöisen pikku tapahtuman loppu vähän sielläpäin Viroa ja aikeena on tehdä pikku talvi-roundtrippi kuplalla:

I need to get my busproject from Finland (about 75km from Helsinki to the North) to my garage here in Narva.. Any ideas what could be the cheapest way to do it? Where to rent a trailer in Estonia? Or any of you driving a truck to Finland with lots of room on the way back, or...?

And then; what is powder coating in estonian or russian? There must be some shop doing it in here. I also heard that it is possible to re-crome parts in Estonia.. any ideas where and at what cost?

it's cheaper to order new ones, if assuming price being ca 150eur /pc.
in Narva there is Igor Brok, who has a "workshop" dealing with metal coatings - he has been pointed to as a person with reasonable price / quality "ratio", so you could ask from there.

Yes, it's cheaper to buy new (unfortunately mostly crap) chromed parts, but I'd like to have a set of Fuchs chromed.
Flat4, MWS etc. sell chromed repro Fuch wheels, but they are not the real thing are they..

Still need ideas on how to transport the T1 to it's new hometown..

lõpuks on Narvas üks põrnikas! :)
Talveks läheb ta tagasi koju, aga enne seda; kas Eestist kuskilt saab osta Valvoline Racing VR1 20W50 õli, või kas ma pean midagi teist ostma? Unustasin võtta kaasa ja Narvast ma ei ole leidnud..
